I never expected to find a place like this in western Queensland.
I'd been stranded in Mount Isa for eight days after flooding cut off the roads east. Eventually, I decided to head out exploring, following a rough 4WD track that led me to Rigby Falls.
The recent rain had brought the entire gorge to life. Water spilled down seven tiers of ancient red rock, stretching hundreds of metres through a landscape I'd never imagined existed out here.
As I made my way through the falls, I kept finding little scenes hidden within the bigger picture.
This was one of them.
A pale white gum, its smooth branches winding across the gorge, framing the waterfalls as they tumbled over the rock behind it.
There was something about the contrast that stopped me. The softness of the water, the warmth of the stone, and this beautiful old tree that had found its place among it all.
I don't know how long it's been standing there, but I like to think it'll be there long after I'm gone.

The paper is part of the photograph’s character. In print, delicate shifts of light, subtle shadow detail and the texture of a landscape can be appreciated at the scale they were intended to be seen.

Construction, specifications & care
Fine-art prints are made to order in the size selected. Paper surfaces differ in texture, reflectivity and the way they reproduce tonal transitions. Where a listing specifies Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl 320gsm, that artwork is described as using an archival cotton-based paper with a subtle pearl finish. Exact paper and border specifications depend on the individual work; the studio can confirm them before production.
Archival materials are designed for longevity, but light, moisture and handling still matter. Avoid direct sunlight and damp areas; handle unframed prints by their edges. The paper texture pictured is an illustrative preview.
02 / GALLERY COLLECTION
A frame that gives the work room to breathe.
A contemporary gallery frame completes the photograph without competing with it. A complementary mat creates separation between the image and the room, while the slim outer profile keeps the focus on the artwork.

Construction, specifications & care
Choose Black + Black for a dark, immersive surround, White + White for a clean architectural finish, or Natural Oak with a white mat for a softer timber edge. Your finish is recorded with your order. Mat proportions, glazing, exact moulding dimensions, hanging details and the finished outside measurements are confirmed for the chosen size.
Framed outside dimensions are larger than the image dimensions. The previews help compare styles, but actual moulding, mat and glazing details are confirmed for production; ask if you need precise wall-space measurements.
03 / PREMIUM FRAMING
More depth. A sculptural presence.
For a more distinctive, furniture-like presence, premium Bellini-spec framing gives the artwork a deeper, sculpted edge. Black veneer, warm walnut and soft white each bring a different character to the surrounding space.

Construction, specifications & care
Premium framing differs from the Gallery Collection through its deeper sculpted profile and surface finish. Each style is individually quoted: the final moulding, mat, glazing, mounting details, availability and completed dimensions are confirmed for the specific work and size, before any production commitment.
A deep black veneer with a subtle satin sheen and sculpted profile, paired with a dark mat.
A rich medium-dark walnut veneer with visible grain and a sculpted profile, paired with a dark mat.
A soft white sculpted profile with a white mat, giving the work a lighter but still substantial finish.
Premium framing is not automatically included in the online Gallery Frame price. The studio will confirm the finished specification, price and any specialist delivery requirements with you.
04 / ACRYLIC FACE MOUNT
The image, with nothing around it.
For a clean frameless look, the photograph is mounted behind a polished acrylic front. Without a conventional outer moulding or mat, the work reads as a single, uninterrupted image on the wall.

Construction, specifications & care
With acrylic face mounting, the print sits behind a transparent acrylic surface and is supported by a rigid backing and a concealed hanging system. This is a complete presentation, rather than a standard framed photograph with removable glazing. Acrylic thickness, backing construction, hardware and outside dimensions are specified for the selected size.
Acrylic reflects some room lighting, so consider windows and direct light when choosing where to hang it. Clean only with suitable soft materials. The pictured acrylic edge is an illustrative preview.
