Still Chasing Light is Mitchell Burns’ keynote about creative courage, reinvention and the uncomfortable period between deciding to change your life and actually building the next version of it. It draws on a decade in FIFO coal mining and the decision to leave that career for photography.

Mitchell spent a decade working FIFO in Queensland coal mining before leaving the industry to pursue photography full-time. Still Chasing Light uses that transition as the spine of a broader story about reinvention, uncertainty and learning to back yourself before there is proof it will work.
