At dusk in the Northern Territory, the rounded sandstone domes of Kata Tjuta rise beyond the red earth and softly lit grasses of Central Australia. A lone tree stands to one side of the broad panoramic scene, while the sky shifts through pink, lilac and violet as daylight fades.

Kata Tjuta Dusk holds a quieter moment in the desert landscape. The distance between the foreground grasses and the immense rock formations gives the photograph a sense of openness and scale, inviting a slower look at the colours and shapes of this remarkable place.
