Island Time

Don’t we all wish we could live on Island Time? Here on Fitzroy Island in Australia’s Tropical North, that’s exactly how I felt, unhurried and in tune with the moment. As the warm light from the setting sun cast a golden glow over the water, I waded in, the waves gently lapping around me. Framing up my shot wasn’t easy. I balanced precariously on a submerged rock, arms stretched high to capture the perfect angle. But in that instant, with the world slowing down around me, every challenge seemed worth it.
