Clifton Sands

This images holds a special part of my heart. Clifton Beach has always been my favorite beach in Cairns and i used to visit nearly every morning. I loved it not just because of its beauty but because how sleepy it was, i always had this place to myself apart from the odd friendly local walking past with there dog.

I knew there was a shot here with this palm tree reaching out to the water's edge, i just needed to wait for the right light. Finally after a couple years i captured my vision of this classic North Queensland beach.
