Zilly Falls

Sometimes you come across places that feel too perfectly designed to be an accident. That was my first thought when I found this view of Zillie Falls on the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland.

The light, the waterfall, the forest and that tree framing the shot all came together. Visiting in the afternoon gave me incredible light, with mist from the falls catching the sunbeams and adding an enchanted feel to the scene.

Being here felt like I’d discovered a new world. It’s a place I’ll never forget.
