Photographed on Fitzroy Island, This series reimagines tropical landscapes through the surreal lens of Kodak aerochrome colour mapping. the technique, once used in infrared film for aerial reconnaissance transforms the natural palette into luminous reds and electric blue, reframing the familiar as other worldly. 

with modern cameras you can recreate this look digitally in camera, I used a speciality modified Full Spectrum IR camera to capture light beyond what the human eye can see. Using special filters on the lens allows different colours and wavelengths on light to enter the camera and create very unique images
