Golden Years

Cruising the back roads of country Victoria, I was chasing the perfect old farmhouse to sit among the canola fields. A plain paddock never feels complete without a bit of character. After a few wrong turns and a failed stop, I nearly gave up , until I saw this place in the distance.

Weathered but proud, it stands quietly in a sea of gold. I couldn’t help but wonder what stories its walls could tell , families raised, hard years, small joys. Now it sits alone, waiting for each new season to bring life back around it, and for a few of us to stop and remember.
